The GoPro Hero 2 Camera

I'd have to say that this little guy, while very tiny, does pretty decent with HD video recording. The Hero 2 camera seems geared toward people that have a active/sport lifestyle. There's three types of Hero 2 cameras: Outdoor, Motorsports and Surf Edition. While these are used for sportsmanship activities, I've noticed the GoPro is starting to become popular with people who just want them to do still video recordings at home. I've been looking into just having a simple video recording camcorder that records videos in HD. That's about it.

I've also been looking into different types of Canon camcorders, but to get something for pretty good quality... your looking at almost $1000.00. :| I love Canon cameras, but while I want to make quality videos, I think a lot of stuff that's added are for serious movie makers. I'm okay on doing without the extra video filters such as black & white or sepia... There's video programs out there I can use to add these effects to my videos if I want. I also like that the camcorder is tiny and fits in your hand.  C:

I also like the Gopro because it comes with a plastic case to put it in when using it, and if you drop it, it won't break. I've watched videos where people lost them out in the water or dropped them 3,000 ft. No damage.  o_o So if your looking into a professional camera you can make movies with and don't want to mess with video editors to add different colors to your videos manually via your computer... the GoPro probably isn't best for that... for now anyway. Unless GoPro come's out with that option in the future...

So, here are a few videos of people using GoPro. Enjoy.  =)

This videos is a GoPro commercial:

This next one, someone actually lost their GoPro while windsurfing, and by getting word around that he lost it, it was found after 2 months. *0*

In this video, a GoPro Hero 2 was used (a little bit). This was a commercial for motor sports clothing gear.

I thought to add this one in for the fun of it. If you're worried that there's a chance of breaking it by accident by dropping it. Don't worry, you won't as long as it's in it's plastic case. XD

Here's a video where this guy lost his skydiving. XD

These Guys launched a GoPro via a balloon, and it survives an 80,000' fall. *0*
