Ahhh Robots. Seeing them in movies when I was little, it seemed so cool at the time. Growing up, I've always figured it would be so awesome to see one in reality one day. Now that I've graduated from high school and had to learn the hard way... What high school was preparing you for... is NOTHING compared to what you had to learn in reality when you're finally out and thrown into new splendiferous ways of the world. Yippy! :D -_-
So my question to you guys is what do you think about the development of robots today? I'm starting to see some creepay robot videos on the Internet and I'm sure there's more to come. Some robots are being created to better show emotion, movement and communication. Here lately, I've came across some videos of robots that not only walk scarily close to a human, but there's other's that are being made to look realistically to a human as possible.
Lets just say, for example, 200 years from now, robots are now wireless and capable to walk and be anywhere they need to be. When it comes to the work field, who
needs humans when robots: can't get sick, ask for pay raises, ask for
days off for vacations to visit family & friends, attend school/family events,
etc. One thing I've learned about working anywhere is that no matter who
you are, someone WILL find someone to do the "work" that they want done,
with or without you. We all ready have factories that have machines bottling, wrapping, and moulding stuff for us. What's next? What's becoming of this revolution of robot making? I'll leave that up to you to think over. =)
