Sometimes, I wish there was a program that if I put a chip behind my ear, it would record through my brain waves the types of music I've developed in the back of my mind. I can't tell you how many times I've came up with pretty songs and lost them the next day. =( I've seen a TED video where a guy, while he's looking at a computer, could move a 3D box toward him with his own mind (brain waves). Of course, he was only able to do it with the mechanism he had attached to his head.
Dragon software takes what you say and puts it into words on a word document. So, what about a software that takes ideas from the mind? I'm just going to automatically accept the fact that one day this will probably happen. That when you go to sleep at night, there will be no need to wake up in the middle of the night to jot down ideas for the next day. Musical and artistic masterpieces will be idly waiting inside the chip for you to upload onto the computer the next day.
I know that this is a digital kind of version of telekinesis, and even though it's not a physical object that's being moved, the principle of using the brain to move objects still applies. I'm very curious if, in the extremely distant future, telekinesis can become more of a reality and prevalent at that. I mean, we as humans have done pretty well with adapting to technology that in return it has also helped us work quickly & efficiently. Whether it be for your workplace or for your own creative works/entertainment. I wonder if, down the road, future generations become so familiar with using this type of technology that one day, no one will need to be dependent on a computer to move things because they can do it themselves?
